La Plume, PA: The Keystone College field hockey team earned a 2-0 win over Ramapo College tonight in non-conference action. The Giants and Roadrunners each move to 1-3 overall on the year.
The Giants scored one goal in the second and one late in the fourth. Breanna Landers posted her first goal of the season to put Keystone on the board while Jordan Vandermark collected her second of the season during a penalty corner. Phaedra Day and Angelina Morley each earned an assist on the play.
Keystone held a 9-5 advantage in shots in the game while they collected 15 penalty corners to Ramapo's one. Hannah Osbahr posted four saves in the net for the Giants.
Michelle Kukan, who collected her 300
th career save earlier this season to become the 5
th Roadrunner goalie to reach that number, tallied six saves on the road tonight. Kukan now has 322 saves in her career which is 4
th all-time at Ramapo.
Victoria Chavez recorded her first defensive save of the season in tonight's game.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, Sept. 14
th when they travel to FDU-Florham at 7pm for a non-conference game.
