Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo men's tennis team defeated John Jay College today in non-conference action, 8-1. The Roadrunners improve to 4-1 overall while the Bloodhounds now stand at 2-6 on the year.
Highlighting doubles action was
James Jackson and
Julian Baretto who earned an 8-0 shutout victory at third doubles. In singles action,
Bobby Ciarletta won 6-2, 6-1 at second singles while
Nate Cooper won 6-2, 6-3 at third singles.
Roshan George shutout his opponent at fourth singles 6-0, 6-0 while Jackson won 6-1, 6-1 at fourth singles. Rounding out singles action was Baretto who recorded a 6-0, 6-1 win.
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, April 20th when they travel to Rutgers-Camden University for a match beginning at 12:00 PM.
