Mahwah, NJ: The Stockton University women's volleyball team held off a Roadrunner comeback to defeat Ramapo College, 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 26-24) tonight at the Bradley Center. The Ospreys move to 18-7 overall and 6-2 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 3-17 overall and 1-7 in the conference.
Ramapo recorded 30 kills in the match on 96 attempts with just 11 errors.
Amanda Fatouh posted 14 kills for the Roadrunners to lead the team while
Riley Stewart contributed with six kills, two aces and one block.
Katie Bishop posted five kills, three aces and 20 assists while
Emily Shea tallied two blocks.
Emma Garcia posted four assists and nine digs while
Kayla Price added two assists and a team high 11 digs.
Stockton hit .289 in the match with 46 kills on 114 attempts and 13 errors. Camille De LaTorre led the way with 15 kills while she added four aces. Kate Louer added ten kills while Jaylah Rolle posted nine kills. Regan Mendick posted three aces while adding 16 assists while Kristen Burton dished out a team high 17 for the team. McKenna Ritchie tallied a team high 12 digs on defense while adding five assists and three aces.
Ramapo returns to action when they host Centenary University at the Bradley Center on Saturday, November 9th to wrap up the season. The match is slated to begin at 1pm while the Roadrunners will honor their senior class prior to the match.
