Dale Leonard of the Ramapo College women's cross country team competed at the NCAA Cross Country Championships this morning. The meet was hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology at the historic LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
 
Leonard finished the 6k race in 22:31 while she was the top NJAC finisher at the meet. This was Leonard's second straight NCAA Championship meet in her career as she finished 127th overall in a field of over 390 NCAA DIII runners. Leonard is also the only female runner in Ramapo program history to qualify for the championship meet.
 
Next up for Leonard and the Roadrunners is the indoor track and field season which is slated to begin for Ramapo on Saturday, December 7th at the TCNJ Winter Open held at the New York Armory.
