Galloway, NJ: The Ramapo College men's cross country team placed 11th overall at the NCAA Metro Regional Championships this afternoon. The meet was hosted by Stockton University.
Ryan Pena posted a personal best time in the 8k race in 25:23.9 as he finished 14th overall earning NCAA Metro All-Region.
Julian Mignone and
Mohamed Nidaazzi finished back-to-back for the Roadrunners with times of 27:10.3 and 27:11.7.
Brandon Meneses finished fourth for the team, clocking in at 27:24.5 while
James Brill wrapped up the team's top five finishers in 27:45.1.
The field for the 2024 NCAA Cross Country Championships, including automatic qualifiers, at-large teams & individuals will be announced tomorrow afternoon on NCAA.com. 32 teams per gender will be selected for the championships. 10 on each side will automatically qualify (one per region, from regional championships) while the remaining 22 for each of the men's and women's championships will be picked at large.
