Mahwah, NJ: The Rowan University women's soccer team remains undefeated in the NJAC with a win on the road over Ramapo College, 8-0. The Profs move to 13-0-2 overall and 8-0 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners drop to 3-12-1 overall and 0-8 in the league.
Mackenzie Clement led the Profs in the game as she tallied two goals and three assists for seven points. Clement scored the first goal for the team and assisted on the next three as Olivia Giordano and Sara Wiedeman pushed the Rowan score to 3-0. Simone Pacetti scored her fifth goal of the season off a pass from Clement to take a 4-0 lead into halftime.
Clement scored her 14th goal of the season in the second half off a pass from Oliveto while Giordano, Wiedeman and Pacetti scored three more unanswered goals for an 8-0 lead. Rowan tallied 16 shots on goal in the game while they collected four corner kicks. Ramapo recorded three shots on goal while they posted three corner kicks.
Gabby Matias posted seven saves in goal for the Roadrunners in the first 66:19 of the game while
Bella Hudson recorded one save in the final 23:41 of the game. For the Profs, Calista Burke posted one save in the first half while Gemma Keesler collected two saves during the second half.
Ramapo returns to action on Monday, October 30th when they travel to Rutgers-Newark University in the final NJAC regular season game of the season at 7pm.
