Glassboro, NJ: The #13 Rowan University men's soccer team defeated Ramapo College 1-0 in NJAC action this afternoon. The Profs move to 9-4-5 overall and 6-0-2 in the conference while the Roadrunners now stand at 8-4-4 overall and 3-3-2 in the NJAC.
Jason Barragan tallied his third goal of the year in the 19th minute of action to put the Profs on the board, 1-0. Davide Caputo earned the assist. Rowan tallied ten shots on goal in the game while they posted seven corner kicks. The Roadrunners collected five corner kicks and four shots on goal. Nikoali Matthews posted eight saves in goal for Ramapo while the Roadrunner defense earned a save in the 38th minute in the first half. Dylan Aportela posted four saves in goal for Rowan including three in the second half.
Ramapo returns to action on Wednesday, October 30th when they host Rutgers-Newark University in the final NJAC regular season game of the season at 7pm.
