Glassboro, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's cross country team placed 15th overall at the ninth-annual Border Battle at DREAM Park this afternoon hosted by Rowan University.
 
Zoey Cassavell and Dale Leonard finished 1-2 for the Roadrunners today at DREAM Park. Cassavell crossed the finish line in with a new personal best time of 22:31.3, as she placed 29th overall. Leonard clocked in at 22:49.8 for a 33rd place finish. Elena Guzman recorded a new personal best of 24:34.2 while Jasmin Silva-Vargas also set a new personal best in 24:40.6. Francesca Cartagena clocked in at 24:46.9 with a new personal best to round out Ramapo's top five finishers.
 
Ramapo will now set their sights on the NJAC Cross Country Championships that will be held on Saturday, November 2nd hosted by TCNJ.
