Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw against NJAC rival Stockton University this afternoon. The Roadrunners move to 8-2-4 overall and 3-1-2 in the NJAC while the Ospreys now stand at 5-5-5 overall and 2-2-2 in the league.
Nikoali Matthews recorded seven saves in the game for the Roadrunners. His biggest save came in the 83rd minute as he grabbed a shot off the foot of Uche Wokocha. Wokocha's shot was fired towards the upper left corner of the goal before Matthews made a diving save to grab the ball, making his fifth save of the game to keep the Ospreys off the board. Brady Bartletta posted five saves for Stockton in the game to hold off the Roadrunners offensive attack. Ramapo finished the game with 17 shots including five on goal while Stockton posted 16 shots and seven on goal. The Ospreys tallied seven corner kicks in the game to Ramapo's six.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, October 23rd when they travel to NJAC rival #10 Montclair State University for a conference game at 7:00 PM.
