Chester, PA: The Ramapo College men's swimming team competed at Widener University this afternoon in the final regular season meet of the season. Widener defeated the Roadrunners, 178-78 while Misericordia University won a close meet over Ramapo, 136-120.
Jack Hill won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 52.33 seconds, over three seconds faster than the second place finisher. Hill posted his second win of the day in the 50-yard freestyle as he clocked in at 21.82 seconds. He added his third individual win in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:55.73. The 200-yard medley relay team made up of Hill,
Tyler Moore,
Thomas Breen and Joseph Swede placed second overall in 1:42.19. Breen placed 3rd overall in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:54.58 and 3rd overall in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:24.24. Moore finished 4th in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:05.93. In the 200-yard freestyle relay, the Roadrunners finished second overall as they combined with a time of 1:33.07. Ramapo will now look to the first-ever New Jersey Athletic Conference Swimming & Diving Championship Meet. The meet will kick-off on Thursday, Feb. 15th and run through Sunday, Feb. 18th in College Park, MD at the University of Maryland. Tickets need to be purchased in advance and can
