Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swim team fell to Baruch College this afternoon in the final home game of the season. The Bearcats posted a 115-71 road win over the Roadrunners. The Roadrunners move to 2-4 overall while the Bearcats now stand at 9-1 overall.
Jack Hill won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 52.09 seconds while
Samuel De Leon clocked in at 58.87 for a third place finish. The 200-yard freestyle relay team grabbed a first place finish with a combined time of 1:34.26. The team was made up of
Thomas Breen,
Tyler Moore,
Giovanni Alvarez and
Ryan Gallacher.
Other notable results:
Hill placed 2nd in the 200-yard freestyle – 1:42.78.
Breen placed 2nd (23.12) & Joseph Swede 3rd (23.17) in the 50-yard freestyle.
Caleb Baron placed 2nd in the 400-yard IM in 4:49.05.
