Montclair, NJ: The Ramapo College baseball team used a three-run ninth inning to break a 3-3 tie as the Roadrunners defeated #21 Montclair State University on the road, 6-4. Ramapo improves to 13-7 overall and 2-1 in the NJAC while the Red Hawks move to 14-5 overall, 1-2 in the conference.

Matt Lalomia with an RBI groundout, 1-0. MSU took a 2-1 lead after four complete innings before the Roadrunners scored two in the fifth.
TJ Roman plated Enger with an RBI groundout to tie the game at two before
Jason Cuba lifted a sac fly to center field which allowed
Christian Alonso to score, 3-2. MSU tied the game in the sixth with a solo home run before Ramapo scored three runs in the ninth to take a 6-3 lead. Alonso drove in two RBI with a single as Lalomia and
Brian Baranok scored before Roman drove in the sixth run of the game with a single to right field to plate Carovillano. The Red Hawks got one back in the bottom of the ninth on a solo home run to come within two before the Roadrunners closed out the game for the victory.
Alonso and Roman each collected two hits and two RBI in the game to lead the Roadrunners.
Dominick Ciani started the game on the mound for Ramapo and earned a no-decision as he worked the first 5.2 innings. He struck out two, walked five and let up seven hits and three runs.
Will Paoli earned the win in relief. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered two hits and one run in 3.1 innings.
The Roadrunners and Red Hawks return to action at Jeff Maund Field in Mahwah on Friday afternoon at 3:30pm.
