Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's outdoor track & field team placed 7th overall at the Ramapo College Track & Field Invitational. The Roadrunners tallied 43 team points.
On Saturday,
Gbarper Dwah lowered her own school record in the 100m dash when she won the event in 12.03 seconds.
Rebecca Kneppel won the 400m dash when she crossed the finish line in 59.20 seconds, which is 8th in program history.
Suzanne Zaugg placed 3rd overall in the 1,500m race with a time of 4:54.10, which is 5th best in program history.
Zoey Cassavell placed 9th overall in 5:08.61. Zaugg and Cassavell finished 5th (2:28.00) and 8th (2:29.47) respectively in the 800m race. In the 400m hurdles,
Barbara Exilus grabbed a 5th place finish in 1:09.82.
The 4x400m relay team posted a combined time of 4:05.68 for a 3rd place finish. Kneppel, Exilus,
Kacy Ewing and Dwah made up the squad. In the field events on Saturday,
Mia Santana placed 7th overall with a mark of 30.29-meters in the javelin.
The Roadrunners return to action on Friday April 7th and Saturday April 8th when they travel to the Metropolitan Conference Outdoor Championships.
