ROADRUNNERS FIRE NO-HITTER IN 5-0 WIN

Auburndale, FL:  The Ramapo College baseball team blanked Westminster College (PA) this afternoon, 5-0, as the Roadrunners recorded a combined no-hitter. Ramapo improves to 3-1 overall while the Titans drop to 3-3 overall.
 
John Higgins drove in the first run of the game for the Roadrunners in the second with an RBI single to right field as Matt Lalomia scored, 1-0. Higgins later scored on an infield error by the Titans for a 2-0 lead. In the fifth, Lalomia drove in Tyler Guadagno with a two-run home run to extend the lead, 4-0. In the eighth, Justin Garthaffner led off with a double down the left field line before scoring on a wild pitch, 5-0.
 
Nick Danbrowney struck out 11 over seven innings of work with just two walks. Dominick Ciani worked the eighth inning and struck out two while James Pazdera struck out one in the ninth to close out the game as Ramapo combined for the first no-hitter since the 2018 season. Higgins led the way at the plate finishing 3-4 while Lalomia and Garthaffner each collected two hits.
 
The Roadrunners return to action March 13th when they take on Curry College in a non-conference double header beginning at 10am.
