Farmingdale, NY: The Ramapo College men's basketball team improved to 3-1 overall with an 89-84 road win over previously unbeaten Farmingdale State College. The Rams now stand at 4-1 overall.
The Rams took a 44-38 lead into halftime before Ramapo outscored Farmingdale in the second half 51-40 for the five point victory.
Peter Gorman led the Roadrunners with 31 points including a career high eight made three-pointers. He finished 10-16 from the field, 8-12 from beyond the three-point line and 3-4 from the free throw line.
Jordan Myers pulled down a team high nine rebounds while adding 18 points and two blocked shots.
Justin Bladen and
Anthony Corbo each tallied 13 points while Corbo posted eight rebounds. The team shot 61% (32-52) from the field, 52% (9-17) from the three-point line and 80% (16-20) from the free throw line. Ramapo scored 34 points in the paint in the game.
For FSC, Nick Hurowitz led the team with 29 points while he grabbed a team high eight rebounds. Aaron Davis scored 19 points including four three-pointers while Corey Powell added ten points. The team shot 43% (28-65) from the field, 37% (9-24) from the three-point line and 76% (19-25) from the free throw line.
Ramapo returns to action on Tuesday, November 21st when they host Rutgers-Newark University in the first NJAC game of the season at 7:30pm.
