Pomona, NJ: The Ramapo College men's cross country team competed in the 2023 New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship race this afternoon. The team finished 4th overall and tallied 94 points in the 8k race which was hosted by Stockton University at the North Athletic Complex.
Ian McCauley crossed the finish line in 26:30.8 to grab a 10th place finish overall while he was first for the Roadrunners. For his efforts on the course today, McCauley earns his first NJAC cross country postseason honor of his career being named to the Second Team All-Conference.
Jason Mercado finished 16th overall and second for the team in 26:57.2 while
Mohamed Nidaazzi was right behind Mercado in 18th place in 27:11.4.
Anthony Bertollo finished fourth for the team in 28:08.6 while
Ryan Pena wrapped up the team's top five finishers with a time of 28:50.5.
The Roadrunners will now look to the 2023 NCAA Metro Region Championships on Saturday, November 11th at Dream Park in Logan Twp., NJ. The meet is set to start at 11:00am.
