Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swim team earned a 167-94 non-conference victory over Widener University this afternoon. The Roadrunners wrap up the dual meet season with a 3-4 overall record while the Pride now stand at 6-5 overall.

The Roadrunners won nine events in the meet including the 200-yard medley relay where they combined for a winning time of 1:39.66. The team was made up of
Brendan McDevitt,
Emile Eeckhout,
Benjamin Gomez and Joseph Swede. Eeckhout won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:51.61 while McDevitt posted a winning time of 55.74 seconds in the 100-yard backstroke. The Roadrunners swept the top three spots in the 100-yard breaststroke as
Samuel De Leon (1:02.23),
Tyler Moore (1:04.42) and
Josh Yee (1:13.07) went 1-2-3 in the event. Swede won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.70 seconds while
Alessandro Alvarez finished in third place in 23.46 seconds. Gomez won the 100-yard freestyle when he clocked in at 49.89 seconds while Swede finished in second place in 52.40 seconds. Eeckhout won his second individual event of the day, this time in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:12.59.
Michael Sooy and Jeff Horn finished 1-2 in the 500-yard freestyle with times of 5:07.06 and 5:26.19 respectively. Gomez grabbed his second individual win on the day with a first place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.69 seconds.

Ramapo will now look to the MET Conference Championships, which begin on Friday, February 17th at Rutgers University. Â
