Galloway, NJ: The Stockton University men's basketball team earned a NJAC conference win over Ramapo College this afternoon, 88-63. The Ospreys improve to 15-3 overall and 9-2 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 7-11 overall and 3-8 in the conference.
The Ospreys, who have won six out of their last seven games, took a 36-28 lead into the locker room before they poured in 52 points in the second half. Four players scored in double figures for Stockton including two of their starters. Milo De Los Satos connected on seven of the team's 17 made three-pointers in the game as he posted a team high 23 points. DJ Campbell finished with 20 points, six rebounds and five assists while Kadian Dawkins finished perfect from the floor in the game (5-5 from the field and 2-2 from the three-point line) with 12 points while adding a team high seven assists. Martin Anguelov tacked on 11 points while Jonathan Azoroh posted a team high seven rebounds and eight points. The Ospreys shot 55% (34-61) from the field, 48% (17-35) from the three-point line and made all three free throws they attempted in the game.
Peter Gorman led the way for Ramapo with 15 points and finished 3-4 from beyond the three-point line.
Anthony Corbo tallied 14 points including 2-2 from the three-point line while he added four rebounds and three assists.
Jordan Myers collected a team high five rebounds along with ten points while
Shane Rooney,
Tyrell Murchison and
Elijah Barlow all recorded six points in the game. The Roadrunners shot 48% (25-52) from the field, 50% (5-10) from the three-point line and 80% (8-10) from the free throw line.
Ramapo returns to action on the road this Wednesday, January 25th when they travel to Kean University in NJAC conference action at 8pm.
