Ewing, NJ: The #7 ranked College of New Jersey women's lacrosse team defeated Ramapo College 21-1 in NJAC conference action this afternoon. The Lions wrap up the regular season undefeated at 6-0 in the conference while they move to 13-2 on the year. The Roadrunners wrap up the season with a 2-11 overall record, 1-5 in the conference.
TCNJ scored 11 unanswered goals in the first quarter before they added four more in the second for a 15-0 lead. Ramapo got on the board with a goal in the second quarter when
Colleen Mason scored her 27th goal of the season off an assist from
Ella Shade. The Lions added six more goals, three in the third and three in the fourth quarters to wrap up the NJAC victory.
Ally Tobler led TCNJ with four goals and one assists while Katherine Naiburg and Anna Write posted three goals each.
TCNJ earns the #1 seed in the upcoming NJAC Tournament and will host #4 Kean on Wednesday May 4th.
