Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's tennis team posted an 8-1 win over Purchase College today in non-conference action. The Roadrunners improve to 6-4 overall as they win their fifth straight match. The Panthers now stand at 2-7 overall.
Ramapo won all three doubles matches before moving onto singles play.
Siddharth Byreddy and
Kenny Elliott won at first doubles, 8-1, while
Matthew Doran and
Bobby Ciarletta also posted an 8-1 win at second doubles.
James Jackson and
Alex Dehner recorded an 8-2 win at third doubles.
Elliott posted a 6-0, 6-2 win at second singles, Doran won 6-2, 6-1 at third singles and Ciarletta won 6-4 and 6-4 at fourth singles. At fifth singles,
James Jackson recorded a 6-4, 6-1 victory at fifth singles while Dehner posted a 6-4, 4-6, 10-6 win at sixth singles.
Ramapo returns to action on Monday, April 25th when they host Yeshiva University at the Athletic Center at 6pm.
