Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's tennis team defeated Yeshiva University 8-1 tonight in non-conference action. The Roadrunners extend their win streak to six games as they move to 7-4 overall while Yeshiva now stands at 5-3 on the year.
Ramapo won all three doubles matches before moving onto singles play. Siddarth Byreddy outlasted his opponent at first singles with a 3-6, 7-5, 10-4 victory while
Kenny Elliott posted a 6-1, 6-1 win at second singles. Matt Doran also earned a tough win over his opponent at third singles 6-4, 6-0, 6-3 and
Bobby Ciarletta won 7-5 and 6-3 at fourth singles.
James Jackson wrapped up his night at fifth singles with a 6-3, 6-3 win.
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, April 26th when they host Mount Saint Mary College (NY) in a dual match with the women's team beginning at 5pm.
