Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's tennis team posted an 8-1 non-conference victory over Hunter College at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners move to 2-4 overall while the Hawks now stand at 3-3 on the year.
Siddarth Byreddy and
Kenny Elliott posted an 8-3 win at first doubles while
Matthew Doran and
Bobby Ciarletta won at second doubles, 8-1. The Roadrunners won all six singles matches. Byreddy won at first singles, 6-0 and 6-2 while Elliott won, 6-4 and 6-1, at second singles. Doran posted a 7-5, 6-3 win at third singles while Ciarletta won at fourth singles, 6-4 and 6-1. At fifth singles,
James Jackson posted a 6-2, 6-2 victory while at sixth singles
Alex Dehner won, 7-5 and 7-5.
The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow afternoon when they travel to FDU-Florham for a non-conference game at 4pm.
