Auburndale, FL: The Johns Hopkins University baseball team earned a 10-0 win over Ramapo College this afternoon at Lake Myrtle Park. The Blue Jays improve to 7-3 overall and are ranked #13 in the latest D3baseball.com Top 25 poll. The Roadrunners even their record to 4-4 overall.

Kieren Collins fired a seven inning run rule no-hitter to propel Johns Hopkins to the non-conference victory. He struck out eight and did not walk a batter while he faced the minimum batters in a seven inning game. The Roadrunners lone base runner in the bottom of the first inning was picked off at third base by the JWU defense.

Johns Hopkins collected 11 hits in the game and got on the board in the third inning with two runs. They added a single run in the fourth and four runs in the fifth before adding three runs in the top of the seventh. The JWU offense was highlighted by a grand slam from Jack Pausic in the fifth and a three-run home run in the seventh from Matthew Cooper.

Dominick Ciani (0-1) took the loss for Ramapo on the mound. He struck out four, walked three and let up eight hits and four runs (two earned) in four innings of work.
Garrett Van Alstyne worked the middle 2.1 innings; he struck out one, walked one and surrendered three hits and six runs.
Gerard Chiricolo finished the game for Ramapo working the final 2/3 of the seventh, he did not give up a hit while walking just one.

Ramapo returns to action tomorrow morning when they take on Dickinson College in a pair of seven inning games. Game one is set to start at 9:45am.
