Winter Haven, FL: The Oswego State College baseball team swept a pair of seven inning games today over Ramapo College. The Lakers moved to 6-2 overall with a 5-1 win in game one and an 8-4 win in the nightcap.

Game One
Oswego State scored three runs in the top of the third inning and two in the fourth while Ramapo tacked on one in the bottom half of the second inning.
Matt Lalomia knocked in
Matt Carovillano, who hit a triple to get on, with an RBI groundout for the Roadrunners.

James Garthaffner (1-1) suffered the loss on the mound for Ramapo. He struck out four, walked five and scattered five hits over 3.1 innings of work. Carvillano and Lalomia recorded both of Ramapo's hits in the game.

Game Two
Ramapo got on the board first in game two with one run in the first inning. Lalomia singled home
Brian Baranok to take a 1-0 lead.

Oswego then scored seven runs to take a 7-1 lead, they put one up in the third and six runs in the fourth. The Roadrunners got two runs back in the fifth inning when
Harold Calero knocked in Baranok and Carovillano with a double to center field, 3-7. Later in the inning Calero came around to score on a wild pitch, 4-7. The Lancers added an unearned run back in the sixth inning for the 8-4 score.

Ramapo recorded nine hits in the game as Baranok, Lalomia and
TJ Roman each collected two hits.
Troy Karaty (0-1) took the loss for Ramapo on the mound. He struck out four, walked three and scattered five hits.
Dominick Ciani worked the final 2.2 innings with one strike out while he surrendered three hits.

The Roadrunners return to action on Monday night when they take on College of St. Scholastica at 6pm.
