RAMAPO TOPS CCNY IN NON-CONFERENCE ACTION, 84-54

Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's basketball team posted an 84-54 non-conference victory over the City College of New York tonight at the Bradley Center. The Roadrunners now stand at 4-1 overall while the Beavers move to 2-4 on the year.
 
Ramapo, who won their fourth straight, never trailed in the game. Five Roadrunners scored in double figures tonight as they were led by Jordan Myers who posted a season high 15 points. Peter Gorman added 13 points, five steals, five rebounds and three assists while Anthony Corbo also collected a season high 12 points. Elijah Barlow tallied a career high 11 points while he recorded three assists and two steals. Justin Bladen contributed with ten points including two three-pointers while Shane Rooney pulled down a team high ten rebounds while he added eight points. In the game, Ramapo shot 48% (31-64) from the field, 38% (5-13) from the three-point line and 70% (17-24) from the free throw line. The Roadrunners never trailed in the game and held their largest lead with 9:24 in the second half. Barlow sank a bucket to put Ramapo up 70-29. The Roadrunners also scored 32 points off of CCNY turnovers.
 
Yassine Sakhi led the Beavers with 14 points while Jordan Williams added ten points including two three-pointers. Dashaun Galloway led the team with seven rebounds while adding seven points and three steals. The team shot 37% (20-53) from the field in the game, 36% (4-11) from the three-point line and 76% (10-13) from the free throw line.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, November 30th when they host Kean University in NJAC action at 7:30pm at the Bradley Center.
