Suzanne Zaugg has been named NJAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Year following her performance this morning at the 2022 NJAC Championships. The selections were determined based on individual placing at the championship, which was conducted at The College of New Jersey.
Zaugg won the 2022 New Jersey Athletic Conference Individual Championship this morning, the second-ever Roadrunner to do so in program history. She posted a winning time of 22:51.3 and was also named NJAC First Team All-Conference. At the 1.2k split, Zaugg was in third place while she moved up to second at the 3.6k split before she outkicked her competition down the stretch to win by two seconds.
Ramapo will return to action on Saturday, November 12th when they travel to the NCAA Metro Regional Championships hosted by DeSales University.
