Ewing, NJ: The College of New Jersey swim team posted a 159-91 victory over Ramapo College today in NJAC action. The Lions move to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the conference while the Roadrunners now stand at 1-2 overall and 0-2 in the NJAC.

Emile Eeckhout won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:00.16 while
Samuel De Leon placed third in 1:02.33.
Benjamin Gomez won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.81 seconds while he placed second in the 50-yard freestyle in 22.68 seconds. He also finished second in the 100-yard freestyle in 50.49 seconds.
Michael Sooy finished 3rd in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:32.89.
Brendan McDevitt took home a second place finish in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:09.88 while Eeckhout finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:14. In the 200-yard IM, Eeckhout clocked in at 2:06.77 while
Caleb Baron was third in 2:12 and
Meghan Cortez-Fields finished in 2:17.54.

The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, November 5th when they travel to Susquehanna University for a non-conference meet at 1pm.
