Mahwah, NJ: The Mules of Muhlenberg College women's volleyball team defeated Ramapo College 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-13) in non-conference action tonight at the Bradley Center. The Mules open the season at 1-0 overall while the Roadrunners now stand at 0-2 overall.
Muhlenberg was led by Esmae Oehler who put down 13 kills in the match while Christina Dalton and Megan Ray each collected seven each. Caleya Tereska led the team with four aces while Emma Eglinton dished out a team high 23 assists. On defense Alyssa Faville collected a team high 22 digs while Tereska added nine of her own. The team hit .202 in the match with 41 kills on 104 attempts with 20 errors.
The Roadrunners were led by
Ashley Pichardo who tallied seven kills while
Stephanie Ross and
Grace Kim added four of their own.
Riley Stewart posted three blocks while
Emma Moran led the team on defense with ten digs.
Alexandra Sacchinelli posted a team high ten assists in the match. The team collected 21 total kills on 96 attempts.
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, September 4th when they travel to St. Joseph's College – LI for a non-conference matchup at 12pm.
