Mahwah, NJ: The Rutgers-Camden University women's volleyball team earned their first NJAC win of the season in a 3-0 (25-17, 25-21, 25-15) win over Ramapo College tonight at the Bradley Center. The Scarlet Raptors improve to 9-4 overall and 1-2 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 3-8 overall and 0-4 in the conference.
Kaliyah Moss led the Scarlet Raptors with 14 kills while Isabella Choice added nine kills, two aces. Brinn Hassan dished out a team high 21 assists and Kayla Benesz collected 12 during the match. Morgan Fox posted two aces, five assists and ten digs while Delaney Kolb led the team with Rutgers-Camden hit .330 in the match with 44 total kills on 100 attempts and just 11 errors
Ashley Pichardo and
Caleigh Golabek led the Roadrunners with seven and six kills respectively. Golabek also posted three kills in the match while
Riley Stewart tallied five kills and two blocks.
Grace Kim added two aces, one assist and nine digs while
Alexandra Sacchinelli posted a team high 24 assists and
Stephanie Ross led the team with ten digs. Ramapo collected 28 total kills on 105 attempts.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, October 2nd when they host Lehman College (11am) and Immaculata University (3pm) in a non-conference tri-match.
