Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's volleyball team defeated Brooklyn College today in non-conference action, 3-1 (24-26, 25-16, 25-20, 25-19) The Roadrunners improve to 3-7 overall while Brooklyn now stands at 6-5 on the year.
 
Ramapo hit .231 in the match with 45 total kills on 130 attempts and just 15 errors. Ramapo also recorded nine team blocks while Caleigh Golabek led the team with six total blocks and 11 kills. Grace Kim recorded 10 kills and five digs while Ashley Pichardo put down eight kills and three blocks. Amanda Fatouh and Golabek each collected four aces while Alexandra Sacchinelli posted three. Sacchinelli dished out a team high 24 assists and Hannah McTighe added 16. Stephanie Ross led the way on defense with 17 digs while Fatouh collected 14.
 
For Brooklyn, Aleah Rafat posted a team high 15 kills while Ashley Fung added 14. Rafat also posted three aces and 14 digs. Ezri Shor dished out a match high 30 assists while Fung led the way with 14 digs. Brooklyn posted 42 kills on 132 attempts and 27 errors.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, September 28th when they host Rutgers-Camden University at 7pm at the Bradley Center.
