Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College Women's soccer team played host to the Ospreys of Stockton University today as they posted a 1-1 draw to stand at 0-6-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the NJAC. Stockton stands at 6-1-2 overall and 0-1-1 in conference play.
The Roadrunners got on the scoreboard first at 19:28 when
Lauren Vladyka scored her first of the season off an assist from
Katie Gwiazdowski.
The score held until the halftime buzzer as Stockton led in shots, 5-2.
Emma Conlan made one save for Ramapo while Kylee Sullivan made one save for the Ospreys.
Stockton's Kayla Rozanski tied the game at the 74:38 minute mark on an unassisted goal. The goal was her 2nd of the season. It also held until the buzzer forcing overtime play.
In the second, Stockton out shot Ramapo 11-2 and Sullivan made four more saves. Conlan made two saves for Stockton.
The Ospreys held a 4-3 advantage in shots in the overtime periods but either team was able to capitalize ending the conference play tied at 1-1.
Sullivan finished the match with six saves and Conlan finished with seven.
Ramapo returns to action on Wednesday, September 29th when they travel to William Paterson for a 7pm kick-off.
