Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's volleyball team earned their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory over St. Joseph's – LI today at the Bradley Center.
 
Ramapo (1-4 overall) was led by Caleigh Golabek and Ashley Pichardo who each recorded nine kills while Stephanie Ross put down eight kills of her own. Grace Kim led the team with seven aces while she posted 11 digs on defense. Hannah McTighe recorded four aces and eight assists and Riley Stewart and Ross posted three blocks and two blocks respectively. Alexandra Sacchinelli dished out a team high 21 assists and Emma Moran led the team on defense with 16 digs. Ramapo recorded 45 kills in the four-set match.
 
For the Golden Eagles, Kayla Martin recorded 13 kills while Amanda Goldstein added 11 of her own. Jamie Trowbridge recorded three aces and one block while Veronica Miessmer dished out a match-high 34 assists. April Sexton led the team with 19 digs on defense while Kaitlyn D'Angelo and Marin collected 15 and 14 digs respectively. The team posted 42 kills in the match.
 
Ramapo returns to action on Tuesday, September 21st when they host New Jersey City University for a NJAC conference match at 7pm.
