Mahwah, NJ: The #21 ranked Profs of Rowan University snuck past the Roadrunners today, 1-0 to improve to 6-0 overall on the year. Rowan stands at 1-0 in NJAC men's soccer action while Ramapo opens the conference season at 0-1 and fall to 3-3 overall.
The game went scoreless until the final 12 seconds when Wilby Alfred posted his fifth goal of the season, slipping the ball in the back of the net to take the game, 1-0. Rowan held an advantage in shots, 6-4 in the first half and 11-4 in the final 45 minutes of play. Ramapo earned five corners to Rowan's two in the game.
Nikolai Matthews made six saves in the net for Ramapo and James Weinberg gets the win making two saves.
Ramapo returns to action on Wednesday, September 22nd when they host Skidmore College at 4pm.
