Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team defeated non-conference rival Skidmore College today at the Athletic Center, 3-1. The Roadrunners improve to 4-3 overall and hand the Thoroughbreds (5-2 overall) just their second loss of the season.

Skidmore scored first in the game with a goal from Finn Weber for his team leading 5th goal of the season. The goal came in the 6th minute of the first half (5:24). The Roadrunners then scored back-to-back goals to take a 2-1 lead.
Dorant Bokshi collected a rebound off a shot from
Osbin Mendez in the 14th minute (13:59) to put Ramapo on the board and tie the game at one.
Brian Kelly scored his 3rd goal of the season, a header off a pass from
Juan Uribe in the 21st minute (20:34) which put the Roadrunners in the lead 2-1. In the first half, Ramapo led 11-6 in shots while both teams recorded two corner kicks.

Brandon DeNovaes would extend the Roadrunner lead to 3-1 in the 85th minute of action (84:14) as
Jonathan Junqueira picked up the assist.

Joshua Schaffer recorded three saves in the game for Ramapo while Bobby Stratts tallied five in goal for Skidmore. For the game, Ramapo posted 16 shots including eight on goal to Skidmore's 11 shots and four on goal. The Roadrunners posted four corner kicks in the game while the Thoroughbreds tallied three.

The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, September 25th when they travel to NJAC rival Stockton University at 2pm.
