Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College field hockey team earned their second win in as many days with a 4-2 home victory over Rhodes College. The Roadrunners held off the Lynx comeback to improve to 4-1 overall while the Lynx now stand at 2-2 on the year.

Angela Oskierko put the Roadrunners on the board (4:49) in the first period when she tallied her second goal of the year off a pass from
Talitha Joustra. Ramapo took a 3-0 lead when
Victoria Docherty tallied back-to-back goals. Joustra and Oskierko assisted on the second goal of the game while
Katie Yarussi earned the assist on the third goal.

Rhodes pushed the pace of the game during the second half scoring two goals. Sabrina Simpson put the Lynx on the board (43:11) before Elinor West brought the Lynx within one off an assist from Sam Hutchinson, 2-3. The Roadrunners would extend their lead 4-2 when
Maggie Farrell hit the back of the cage off a beautiful pass from
Mariah Tovar.

Michelle Kukan recorded five saves in the game while Riley Marzola posted nine saves for Rhodes.

The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, September 15th when they host Western Connecticut State University in a non-conference game at 4:30pm.
