Doylestown, PA: The Ramapo College field hockey team defeated Delaware Valley University 4-1 tonight on the road. The Roadrunners improve to 3-1 overall while the Aggies now stand at 0-4 on the year.

The Roadrunners scored two goals in the first seven minutes of action to take a quick 2-0 lead.
Talitha Joustra scored off a penalty corner with an assist from Victory Docherty before Docherty got one of her own.
Dylan Ghimiray assisted on the team's second goal of the game.

Ramapo was awarded one penalty stroke in the second and fourth periods. Docherty converted in the second period before
Maggie Farrell pushed Ramapo's lead to 4-0 in the fourth period.

The Aggies got on the board in the fourth period when Maiya Wendel pushed in a goal off a penalty corner as the Roadrunners held a 4-1 lead. Ramapo held a 22-2 advantage in shots in the game including 16-2 in shots on goal. The Roadrunners also collected all eight penalty corners in the game.
Michelle Kukan posted one save in the win. Alyssa Rudd tallied 12 saves for DelVal.

The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow afternoon when they host Rhodes College for a non-conference game at the Athletic Center Turf Field at 4pm.
