Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team faced off with the Ospreys of Stockton University today as they picked up a 3-1 win to improve to 1-0-1 on the year. The Ospreys take their second loss falling to 0-2 on the season.
The Roadrunners got on the scoreboard first in the game as rookie
Massimo Gallorini ripped a shot into the bottom corner past Dino Gromitsaris ten minutes into the game. The score stood until just under a minute into the second half when Ian Byrne slipped the ball past the diving
Joshua Schaffer to tie the game at 1-all. The Roadrunners would then take the lead with a forceful upper-90 free kick from Thaigo Stallhbaum at 52:17. With less than three minutes to play, Gallorini crossed the ball and
Brian Kelly gave a one-touch pass to
Ederson La Torre sitting around the nine yard mark. La Torre would score his first goal of the season to put Ramapo ahead 3-1. The score stood until the final buzzer where Ramapo held a 9-5 advantage in shots. Schaffer made two more saves in the period.
Ramapo led in shots in the first half 5-3 while Schaffer made one save. Gromitsaris made one of his own. The Roadrunners earned two corners to Stockton's zero.

th when they travel to William Paterson for a 6pm kick off.
