Mahwah, NJ: The Rams of Farmingdale State College defeated the Ramapo College men's basketball team today at the Bradley Center in a non-conference match-up, 64-62. The Roadrunners fall to 2-8 overall while the Rams stand at 5-6 overall.

Jordan Myers gave the team a five-point lead with 14:12 left to play. Ramapo went on an 11-1 run capped off by a three-point shot from
Mark Howell putting the Roadrunners up 21-8. The Rams would turn around and score back-to-back three pointers from Aaron Davis and Zamere McKenzie closing the gap to seven. The two teams traded baskets for the last 5:31 of play, before
Shane Rooney netted the final two points of the half with one second left on the clock, sending the Roadrunners into the locker room up, 29-20.
The two teams traded baskets in the second half until a jump shot from Kobe Thomas with 12:15 to play would start an 18-2 run for the Rams. Nick Hurowitcz would cap off the run with a three-point shot to give Farmingdale the lead for the first time with 7:38 left to play, 47-46. The teams traded points for the rest of the half with a three-point shot from Jevon Santos at 30 seconds putting the Rams on top for the final time. Farmingdale tacked on two more while the Roadrunners scored the final basket of the game, a jumper from
Peter Gorman, as the Rams held on for a two-point road win, 64-62.
The Roadrunners were led by Myers with 16 points and Gorman with 14,
Shane Rooney collected nine rebounds in the game. Davis led the Rams with 25 points and Dominique Senat led the team with seven rebounds. Ramapo shot 41% (26-63) from the field and 27% (3-11) from beyond the three-point line. The Rams shot 43% (22-51) from the field and 46% (10-22) from behind the three-point line.
The Roadrunners will return to action on Thursday, December 30th for a 3pm non-conference match-up against Brooklyn College at the Bradley Center.
