Glassboro, NJ: The Rowan University field hockey team posted a 3-1 victory over Ramapo College in the NJAC semifinal game. The #1 Profs improve to 15-2 and are winners of their last 13 games. The #4 Roadrunners move to 12-7 overall and will wait on a possible ECAC Tournament bid that will be announced Monday afternoon following the NCAA Field Hockey Selection show.
The Roadrunners moved to #4 in the NCAA Region IV rankings that were announced earlier this afternoon. Rowan holds the #1 spot while Kean is second and TCNJ is third. Misericordia who the Roadrunners defeated last weekend are fifth and Stevens are sixth. Rowan is also ranked #6 in the NFHCA Top 25 National Poll.
Krystyna Hovell recorded a hat-trick with three goals in the game. She put the Profs on the board in the first quarter as she redirected a pass from Julia Patrone in the fourth minute of play (3:19). In the second quarter she took a pass from Dayna Devincentz in the 30th minute (29:57) for the 2-0 lead while she made it 3-0 for the Profs in the third quarter (34:30) with an assist from Kristiina Castagnola.

Katie Yarussi collected her sixth goal of the season. The Profs were able to hold off the Roadrunners in the final seven minutes of the game to earn the 3-1 victory and advance to the NJAC Championship game.
Michelle Kukan posted five saves in the game for Ramapo while she faced 17 shots. Abby Hainsworth recorded two saves and faced four shots in the game for Rowan.
