Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College field hockey team earned the #4 seed in the 2021 NJAC Field Hockey Championship Tournament. This is the first time in program history that the Roadrunners qualified for the tournament.
NJAC Tournament Bracket
The four-team tournament opens on Wednesday, Nov. 3rd, with the two semifinal games. The Roadrunners travel to #1 Rowan for a 7pm game while #2 Kean hosts #3 TCNJ at 7:30pm. The winners will meet in the championship game on Saturday, Nov. 6th for the NJAC Title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
The Roadrunners who finished the NJAC regular season with a 3-3 conference record and 12-6 overall are led by
Victoria Docherty who has a team and conference best 22 goals.
Talitha Joustra is second on the team with nine goals while she adds eight assists.
Mariah Tovar leads the team with 13 assists while she's scored six goals this season.
Maggie Farrell has contributed with seven goals and seven assists.
Angela Oskierko has posted six goals and
Katie Yarussi has five on the year. On defense,
Emily Ricciardi leads the team with two defensive saves and
Michelle Kukan has logged over 990 minutes in the cage with 66 saves. Kukan has three shutouts this season and has faced 144 shots.
