ROADRUNNERS WIN THIRD STRAIGHT, REMAIN UNDEFEATED IN SKYLINE ACTION

Jersey City, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team picked up their third straight win as they defeated New Jersey City University on the road, 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 26-24). The Roadrunners who were playing their fifth game in the last three days, improve to 12-7 overall and 5-0 in the Skyline while the Gothic Knights drop to 8-7 overall and 2-2 in the Skyline.
 
The Roadrunners were led by Jason van der Wilt who recorded ten kills while he added two aces, five digs and five total blocks. Conor Charlow, who earned Skyline Player of the Week Honor Roll, posted nine kills and hit .389 in the match while he contributed with two aces and three total blocks. Eric Van Thuyne posted eight kills on 21 attempts with no errors to hit .381 in the match. He added two aces, seven digs and one block. The Skyline Libero of the Week, Tyler Plitt, posted a team high 11 digs on defense while he tallied three assists. Josh Titus dished out a team high 29 assists while posting six digs. Stephen Codispodo contributed with four kills and nine digs. The Roadrunners hit .240 in the match with 34 total kills on 96 attempts and 11 errors.
 
NJCU's top contributor on offense was Julian Moreira who posted six kills while Jonathan Andrews collected five of his own. Leo Ferrari dished out a team high 22 assists while he added two blocks and nine digs to lead the team on defense. The team posted 27 kills in the match on 93 attempts with 22 errors to hit .054 overall.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, March 4th when they host #4 ranked New Paltz at the Bradley Center for a non-conference match at 7pm.
