MEN'S VOLLEYBALL EARNS 6TH STRAIGHT WIN

Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team earned two wins today over Skyline conference rival St. Joseph's (LI) and a non-conference win over the City College of New York. The Roadrunners, who have won six straight matches, now stand at 7-4 overall.
 
The Roadrunners pulled out a 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-21) sweep over St. Joseph's (LI) in their first match of the day behind 12 kills from Eric Van Thuyne.  He hit .385 with his 12 kills on 26 attempts and just two errors. Jason Van Der Wilt collected 11 kills hitting .233 while the team combined for 42 kills on 120 attempts with 14 errors.  Josh Titus dished out 35 assists and Stephen Codispodo picked up a team leading ten digs.  Titus and Van Der Wilt each had an ace in the win.  Conor Charlow led with five blocks as the team picked up eight team blocks.  For St. Joe's, Matt Cole led the team with 12 kills and Paul Curaro added ten as the team hit .062 with 31 kills on 113 attempts with 24 errors.  Jason Siriban assisted on 27 points and Will Flohr led with 13 digs.  Siriban picked up ten digs of his own.
 
In their final match of the day, the Roadrunners earned a 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-18) win over the Beavers of CCNY. Andrew Finnegan led the team with 10 kills as he hit .333 in the match. Finnegan also posted five digs, one ace and one block. Mack Brower hit .500 overall with six kills on ten attempts with just one error. He also collected four digs and two blocks. Tanner Depuyt, Codispodo and Charlow each contributed with five kills while Lucas Inglis dished out a team high 26 assists while Josh Titus posted 11 of his own. Plitt posted eight digs to lead the team on defense while Jack DiGirolamo led the team with three assisted blocks. The team hit .346 overall with 40 kills on 81 attempts and just 12 errors. For the Beavers, Vukasin Bozic led the team with six kills while Elijah Parks posted four in the match. Andrew Chan dished out 16 kills while Chan and Jonathan Liao recorded five digs.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, February 11th when they travel to Hunter College for a 6pm match-up on the road.
