Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team earned their second shutout of the season with a 1-0 blanking of John Jay College. The Roadrunners move to 2-0-1 overall while the Bloodhounds now stand at 1-2 on the year.
 
The game-winning goal came in the second half as Bashkim Saiti notched his third goal of the season, and his second game-winning goal in the 49th minute of action. Justin Charkowski assisted on the goal.
 
Neither team scored in the first half while the Roadrunners held a 10-2 advantage in shots in the half. John Jay held an 8-4 advantage in the second half while Ramapo collected four corner shots in the game to John Jay's one.
 
Noah Beverin earned the win in the net for Ramapo as he recorded two saves in just over 48 minutes of action. Joshua Schaffer collected one save in the first 41 minutes of play.
 
Ramapo returns to action on Wednesday, September 11th when they travel to Skidmore College for a non-conference game at 4pm.
