Baltimore, MD: The Ramapo College field hockey team scored one goal in the final three periods as they defeated Notre Dame College of Maryland 3-0 this afternoon. The Roadrunners improve to 2-1 overall while the Gators drop to 1-3 on the year.
Ramapo scored early in the second period when
Mariah Tovar collected her second goal of the season off a pass from
Maggie Farrell for the 1-0 lead.
Victoria Docherty collected her first collegiate goal of her career in the third period while
Talitha Joustra earned the assist. The Roadrunners made it 3-0 in the fourth period when
Kelli Ratkoski also collected her second goal of the year,
Autumn Laird would earn the assist.

Samantha Stolker needed to make just one save in the game to earn the shutout win. Ramapo dominated the game in shots 24-1 and penalty corners 21-1.
Fallon Katz posted 14 saves for the Gators in the net.
Ramapo returns to action tomorrow afternoon when they travel to Frederick, MD for a non-conference game at 12pm against Hood College.
