RAMAPO EARNS 2-0 SHUT OUT OVER DELAWARE VALLEY

Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College field hockey team played host to Delaware Valley today where they posted a 2-0 win as they improve 4-5 overall.  Delaware Valley falls to 3-4.
 
The Roadrunners got on the board first in the game as Lucy MacKenzie posted her first goal of season off a pass from Mariah Tovar. The goal coming at 9:42. Kelli Ratkoski would put away her third of the year at 22:45 to give the Roadrunners a 2-0 lead heading into the half.
 
Samantha Stolker went untested in goal as the Roadrunners out shot Del Val 11-0. Ramapo earned seven corners to their one.  Kita Konerth made four saves for the Aggies.
 
In the second, the two teams played scoreless hockey as Ramapo added seven shots and Delaware Valley two.  Stolker earns the shut out making two saves in the final half of play.  Konerth made five additional saves.  Ramapo collected four additional corners while the Aggies earned just one.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, September 28th when they travel to Oneonta for a 1pm match-up.
