Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's tennis team defeated the University of Scranton this afternoon 6-3. The Roadrunners open up the season at 1-0 overall while the Royals stand at 0-1 overall.
The Roadrunners recorded four wins in singles action highlighted by
Kenny Elliott's blanking 6-0, 6-0 at second singles. In doubles play, Elliott teamed up with
Cyrus Dastparvardeh for an 8-0 win at second doubles while
Joshua Halperin and
Seth Frey won at third doubles, 8-1.
The Roadrunners return to action when they host Yeshiva University on Tuesday, September 24th at 5pm.
