Madison, NJ:  The Drew University women's soccer team defeated Ramapo College tonight in non-conference action, 3-1. The Rangers even their overall record at 3-3 while the Roadrunners move to 4-2 on the year.
 
Sydney Siemba put the Rangers on the board in the fifth minute of the game (4:54) off a pass from Leah Dentale to take an early 1-0 lead. Dentale tallied her third goal of the season for Drew in the 13th minute (12:46) to push the score 2-0. Sarah Racine assisted on the goal.
 
Ramapo got on the board in the second half when Kaitlyn Kelly tallied her third goal of the season in the 69th minute of action to cut the lead in half, 1-2. Sam Kievit tallied an insurance goal for Drew in the 71st minute (70:29) to extend the Ranger lead 3-1.
 
Drew out shot the Roadrunners 15-5 in the game while they held a slight advantage in corner kicks 5-2. Angela Accetturo and Anthi Panayides split time in the net for Drew while Panayides recorded one save. Elizabeth Harvell posted four saves for the Roadrunners in the game.
 
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, September 21st when they open up NJAC conference play against New Jersey City University at 1pm at the Athletic Center Grass Field.
