Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team improved to 4-0 overall and 1-0 in the NJAC with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-14, 25-21) win over New Jersey City University. The Gothic Knights now stand at 4-5 overall and 0-1 in the conference.
The Roadrunners were led by
Hannah Frascella who put down ten kills on 32 attempts to hit .304 in the match.

Morgan Ridgway and
Felicia Jimenez each contributed with six kills of their own.
Kate Shirkey posted a team high 19 assists while
Sara Correa added 13 of her own in the match. Shirkey contributed with one ace and five digs while Correa added two aces and nine digs. Ridgway posted a team high two blocks while adding six digs.
Karina Almeda led the team on defense with 25 total digs while adding four assists and five aces.
Kristina Semple posted a team high five aces while the team posted 37 total kills in the match.
Stephanie Duque led NJCU with eight kills while she added 11 digs and one assist. Yaidettive Vega collected five kills, nine digs and one block while Leah Seickendick tallied four kills, two digs and one block. Katrina Nguyendon posted a team high 16 assists while also adding eight digs and one ace. Bella Sunahara led the team on defense with 13 digs in the match. The Gothic Knights tallied 18 total kills in the match.
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, September 24th when they travel to NJAC rival Rowan University for a 7pm match.
