Box Score Mahwah, NJ. The Ramapo College women's soccer team opened the 2019 season with a 4-0 shutout over Norwich University this afternoon. The Roadrunners stand at 1-0 overall while the Cadets begin the season 0-1.
Ramapo opened the scoring in the 23rd minute of action when
Liliann Vizcaino converted on a penalty kick for the 1-0 lead.

In the second half, the Roadrunners added three more goals.
Carla Goodwin (54th minute) assisted by
Kaelyn Angelucci, Angelucci (63rd minute) assisted by
Kaitlyn Kelly and
Lauren Vladyka (87th minute) each tallied their first goal of the season to take a healthy 4-0 lead into the final minutes of the game.

Norwich had more opportunities in the second half with six shots while Ramapo outshot the Cadets 21-7 for the game.
Elizabeth Harvell and
Alexandra Kerwin split time in the net for the Roadrunners while Kerwin collected two saves for Ramapo in the game. Kim Watt posted nine saves in goal for Norwich.

The Roadrunners return to action on Sunday, Sept. 1st when they host FDU-Florham in a non-conference game at 1pm.
