Ewing, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's lacrosse team dropped a tough match-up to the #17 ranked Lions of the College of New Jersey today on the road, 3-18.  With the loss the Roadrunners fall to 6-7 overall and 0-4 in the NJAC.  The Lions improve to 9-5 overall and remain undefeated at 4-0 in conference play.

Gabi Davidson, Shannon Egan and Nicole Jaskot each scored a goal for the Roadrunners as Alexandra Kerwin made 13 saves in the net.  Davidson and Jaskot each collected an assist and Molly Warner added an assist of her own.  Ramapo combined for eight ground balls and four caused turnovers. 

The Lions led the Roadrunners 2-0 before Davidson got Ramapo on the board with 25:54 on the clock.  TCNJ would hold the Roadrunners for the remainder of the half while they collected ten additional goals to lead, 12-1 at the buzzer.  TCNJ would outshoot Ramapo, 28-2 in the half.  

In the second, the Lions again came out with two goals before Egan and Jaskot each scored for Ramapo to close the gap, 3-14.  The Lions proved to be too much for the Roadrunners as they closed out the game with four additional goals to earn the 18-3 win.  TCNJ again led in shots, 13-3.

The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, April 23rd when they travel to Montclair State for a 7pm match-up.
